Agronomy is a specialized branch of agriculture dealing with crop production and soil management. This is the application of scientific principles to the art of crop production. Department of Agronomy, in the College of Agriculture, Talsande is a huge department, carrying out teaching activities. The staffs are actively involved in conducting teaching, on-farm activities, educational tours, which make the students be well versed with the subject.
