Educational Visit to KDCC Bank, Kolhapur

Students of the First and Second Year classes visited KDCC Bank, Kolhapur as part of the Sahakar course during the academic year 2026–2027.

The visit provided students with practical knowledge about cooperative banking, agricultural loans, credit facilities, and the important role of cooperative banks in supporting farmers and promoting rural development.

Practical Learning Experience

The educational visit helped students understand the functioning of a cooperative banking institution and its contribution to agricultural finance. Students gained valuable insights into the various credit facilities and financial services available to farmers and the contribution of cooperative banks towards strengthening the rural economy.

The educational visit provided students with practical knowledge about agricultural produce marketing, market regulation, price discovery, auction procedures, and the important role of APMC in supporting farmers.

Practical Learning Experience

The visit enabled students to understand the functioning of an agricultural market and the processes involved in bringing agricultural produce to the market. Students gained practical insights into market regulation, price determination, auction procedures and the role of APMC in providing an organised marketplace for farmers and traders.

Educational Visit to Gokul Dudh Sangh, Gokul Shirgaon

Students of the First and Second Year classes visited Gokul Dudh Sangh, Gokul Shirgaon, as part of the Sahakar course during the academic year 2026–2027.

The educational visit provided students with valuable practical exposure to various aspects of the dairy industry, including milk collection and procurement, milk processing, quality control, dairy product management, and the functioning of cooperative dairy organisations.

Practical Learning Experience

The visit also helped students understand the important role played by cooperative dairies in supporting dairy farmers and strengthening the dairy sector. The practical experience complemented classroom learning and provided students with a better understanding of the operations and management of a cooperative dairy organisation.
